The Ugreen CM300 Aluminum Cradle will allow you to quickly and seamlessly convert your 2.5-inch hard drive into an external drive - ready to be plugged in via a USB Type C port. The enclosure supports high-speed data transfer of up to 6Gbps and is compatible with macOS, Windows or Linux. The intelligent ASM235CM chip guarantees maximum performance and power savings.

High-speed data transfer
The pocket will allow you to transfer data at speeds of up to 6Gbps. It supports the UASP protocol, which affects the speed of data transfer via the USB port.

Works with multiple devices
The ASM235CM controller built into the enclosure allows you to connect the drive to many operating systems, including Windows 8, Windows 10, macOS or Linux. The drive will therefore work with devices such as laptops, PCs, TVs and video game consoles. Importantly, the chip has built-in protection against electrostatic discharge of up to 4 kV.

Easy installation
The pocket is designed so that the drive won't move around inside it and won't scratch. You also don't need tools to install the hard drive. Three steps are enough:

• - Slide out the back of the case.
• - Insert the hard drive, then close the case.
• - Connect the pocket to your laptop.

Robustness and safety
The case is made of aluminum, so it is impact resistant. Thanks to intelligent power management, it does not draw excessive power - it automatically goes to sleep after 3 minutes of inactivity. Four silicone pads have been attached to the underside to prevent slipping on the tabletop. A USB Type C - USB Type A cable has been included with the pocket, which simultaneously transfers data and supplies power to the device.
