The automatic chicken coop door by Wiesenfield is a daily relief for poultry farmers. It eliminates the need to go to the poultry house in the morning or evening and reliably protects poultry from martens or foxes. The choice of manual, light or timed control ensures optimal operation of the door, which is automatically adapted to individual rearing conditions. Thanks to its battery power (4 AA or 6 V), the door is independent of electrical connections and can be activated immediately. Using an intuitive panel with LCD display, opening and closing times can be easily controlled. In addition to manual closing, the flap has four automatic control modes: morning and evening by timer or light, as well as two possible combinations of these modes (light-controlled in the morning and time-controlled in the evening, and vice versa). The chicken coop door is safe to use. An anti-blocking function prevents them from closing when a hen is directly underneath. This safety measure prevents accidental injury to animals when entering or exiting the enclosure. The automatic latch thwarts attempts to lift the flap by predators and does not expose the animals to danger. The henhouse flap also impresses with its robust construction. The housing is made of durable plastic (ABS), the door is made of galvanized steel, and the slat is made of aluminum. Thanks to this combination of materials, the chicken coop door performs well even at low temperatures down to -18°C.
