PURITY C filter cartridges are designed specifically for use in catering establishments, catering companies and vending equipment. They reduce the carbonate hardness of drinking water, thus significantly reducing the risk of lime deposits in the connected terminal device. They also bind metal ions, such as lead or copper. The filter reduces substances that interfere with taste and aroma (for example, chlorine residues) both in the filtered water and in the bypass water. BRITA Professional water filters are approved for food contact based on testing and monitoring by independent institutes. Can be used in conjunction with a water softening system.
