Self-priming is the operation of the pump without refilling the inlet channel. The pump itself will remove accumulated air from the suction line. The by-pass valve prevents overloading and equalizes the pressure when, for example, the hose is kinked. The device can be mounted to the work surface thanks to pre-drilled holes. The pump is fully portable thanks to its small size, handle and lightweight design. The fuel line is equipped with a mesh that filters debris. The pump can run dry for an extended period of time.
