Decibelometer is a digital meter that allows you to check whether your immediate environment, office or street is too noisy. The device is aimed at those conducting various types of evidence-based noise tests. The accuracy of the device is thanks to 4 measurement ranges from 30 to 130 dB with an accuracy of 1.4 dB (Lo: 30 dB~80 dB; Med: 50 dB~100 dB; Hi: 80 dB~130 dB; Auto: 30 dB~130 dB). You can also choose between 2 measurement times: fast (125 ms) and slow (1 s). The SBS-SM-130C meter meets the full requirements of EC61672 Class 2 Standard, allows maximum and minimum sound level readings, and stores up to 262,100 measurements in memory.

LCD display with analog bar graph for easy viewing of rapidly changing sound levels. Quick and easy analysis and noise level checks are essential when using the decibel meter. You can easily mount the unit on a tripod and take it with you in the field. A USB cable lets you export readings to a computer for archiving and reporting, and a 3.5mm headphone jack connects the meter to a frequency analyzer, FFT analyzer or other measurement equipment.

A shield mounted on the sound meter reduces the effects of wind and air movement on the microphone, protects it from damage and prevents pollen and other debris from entering. The Steinberg Systems product has a built-in sound level alarm, a battery compartment cover with screw, and an automatic shut-off option that saves battery life.
