The Extra Softwater filter by AQUAPHOR provides highly effectivewater purification. Three stages of filtration both soften water and remove impurities down to 0.8 microns. They get rid of substances commonly found in water from municipal and local water supply systems. Additional purification of drinking water from mechanical and colloidal particles is the job of the Extra Soft filter. It also eliminates excessive hardness. It allows to obtain completely tasteless and odorless water. The capacity of the equipment is 100 l/h. The minimum service life at water hardness of 10°f is up to 1500 l. The cartridges are easy to replace. The device consists of two filters:

• K5 - for retaining solid particles such as sand and rust. It protects further stages of filtration and extends the life of household appliances (such as coffee machines). It is a replaceable sediment filter made of 100% polypropylene. Its service life is up to 6,000 liters, but no longer than 1.5 years.

• K7 - for removal of all common contaminants, including chlorine, lead, bacteria and particulate matter up to 0.8 μm. It uses a dense CarbFiber block made of powdered activated carbon from coconut shells. It removes residual concentrations of organic pollutants and heavy metals. Modified Aqualen fibers ensure the flow of water through the very dense filter material, resulting in high-precision purification. The filter contains silver in its active ionic form.
