The flask itself has a stainless steel cover and a threaded insert made of Bakelite. For added convenience, a soldering iron base is included, which is equipped with an accessory for cleaning the tips from dirt.
The station also has a HOT AIR gun, which can be placed on a convenient holder mounted on the side of the device. The flow of hot air from the flask is 120 l/min, and its temperature can reach up to 480°C. The operation of the gun can be set in two functions: AUTO or MANUAL. The first is responsible for the continuous operation of the blower, and the second consists of manual control.
Setting the operating parameters is possible thanks to a control panel equipped with steel switches. With its help you can easily set the airflow, soldering temperature, sleep function time (0 - 99 min) or cooling. The panel also has an easy-to-read LCD screen showing the temperature in °C or °F, as well as the current and voltage levels.
A great convenience for users is undoubtedly the memory function. With its help, you can quickly save parameters that you will still use. Just select the desired settings and then hold down one of the CH1 - CH3 buttons for 3 seconds. To load the memorized options, press the button assigned to the settings.
Excellent visibility during operation is provided by the included light with magnifying glass. It is equipped with 40 LEDs that provide eye-friendly light. The glass magnifies five and ten times, which will prove useful during very demanding tasks. In addition to the station and the lamp, the kit includes cob-heads, tweezers, a component lifter and a soldering tape.
