Sonoff 5050RGB-5M is a waterproof and self-adhesive RGB LED strip powered by 12 V. The SMD5050 LEDs allow you to choose the light color from a huge palette of 16 million colors. The tape is 5 m long and can be extended or cut.

Thanks to it, you will create remote-controlled LED lighting in your home, which you will mount anywhere. Controlling the LEDs is done through the eWeLink app, which you need to install on your phone. It is free and available for Android and iOS.

The durable and flexible LED strip can be bent and trimmed to fit your own idea. It can be cut in 10 cm increments in the designated areas, and with the adhesive tape you can mount it wherever you want. IP65 certification allows you to attach it even in places exposed to moisture.

Convenient light control
You can control the tape in several ways. By connecting it to the eWeLink app, you can access it from anywhere in the world where there is internet access. In addition to the application there is also a remote control (not included) with which you can change the color of the light and turn the tape on and off. Importantly, you also have voice control thanks to compatibility with voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

Glowing to the rhythm of music
Another very interesting feature of the tape is that it lights up to the rhythm of music played nearby. This will make a great atmosphere in your home, for example, during a party.

To enable this feature, you need to connect to the tape via the eWeLink app and select the sound recognition option there. To activate the pairing mode, you need to press the on/off button on the remote control for 5 seconds. Sound recognition works thanks to a microphone that is built into the controller.

Sampling color from the environment
The application has a function for sampling color from the environment. This is done using the phone's camera. All you have to do is enter the appropriate option in the app, point the camera at a specific object and retrieve the selected color.
